Jessie May nurse, Steve, receives fundraising boost from City West Commercials

We are all so excited for Jessie May Nurse Steve’s 24 hour fundraiser for our charity, and with a fantastic boost from our friends at City West Commercials, Steve is getting closer and closer to his fundraising target!

We were thrilled to welcome Joni from City West Commericals to our office yesterday, who presented Steve with a cheque for £466.44 to go towards his fundraising pot.

City West Commercials opted to swap wheels for pure pedal power recently and ran their own static bike challenge for Jessie May. The money raised will top up Steve’s ‘The Difference a Day Makes’ fundraising pot and help him get closer to hitting his £3,000 fundraising target. He has now raised over £1,330 for Jessie May thanks to this amazing boost in funding (currently £1,333.44!)

Joni from City West Commercials said: “Across all our depots, people from all our teams took time out to share their support for Jessie May. We reached 700km, smashing our reach of cycling from Roche to Avonmouth and back! We set our sights on further horizons and calculated we spinned our way to Mercedes-Benz Wentworth Park which is where we’ve introduced clients to Approved Used demonstrations and Predictive Powertrain Control from the Work Ready range.”

City West Commercials have also supported Jessie May through other fundraising events and activities.

Joni added: “The various ways we’ve raised money is through seasonal knitwear and our bake or bike event, with the main focus of everyone being able to join in.”

Nurse Steve said: “A massive thank you to everyone at City West Commercials that helped to raise the money. It’s an amazing thing they have done! It has really given me another boost to get out there and smash my total.”

A huge thanks to the team at City West Commercials for all their support and generosity! What a team!
